The Committee would like to welcome a new member to our group - Susan Ross. We hope that you will find time to introduce yourself to Sue this evening so that she may get to know us
all.
Syresham WI celebrated their 90th
birthday during November and Joan and Eileen went along to represent our WI and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Our congratulations
go to Stella Thomas on the arrival of a new grandson. Also we would like to ask Sue Hamilton to convey our thanks to her husband
as we believe he is looking after our oak sapling whilst we await a planting spot from the council. I’m sure Craig’s
doing a GRAND job.
DATES TO REMEMBER
Please don’t forget Christmas Coffee Morning at WI House on Friday 11th
December 10am until 12 noon.
The Christmas Tree Festival will also be held on the 11th and 12th
December at the Methodist Church. Please go along and support and have a look at our contribution kindly assembled by
Helma Boot and Maureen Thorne.
Group 23 will be on Monday 22nd March in the Town Hall, titled “Kinky Boots”
by Steve Pateman. Sorry as yet I am unable to give you a price but we may know at the meeting.
We will be having a Fashion Show in the Town Hall on 15th October featuring clothes from
Marks & Spencer. More details later.

SKITTLES
Skittles will commence in earnest on Wed 6th January at the Sports and Social
Club as usual. We will need to get practicing as the league is about to begin.
If we have any members who wish to join us please come along we start at 8.00pm
ANNUAL MEAL
For all those who have put their name down this is a little reminder: the meal is at
Silverstone Golf Club on Friday 22nd January. Please arrive at 7.00pm to dine promptly at 7.30pm. Please make your own
way there. For those who have paid a deposit of £10 please pay balance of £8.50 and those who need to pay the full amount
– it’s £18.50. Also at the same time please fill in your menu. Val will
be collecting money due during the meeting and she will also have the menus.
Please make sure you give Val your dues as we have to hand money and menus in
before Christmas.
