We hope that everyone agrees that the new floral planter at the southern entrance to Towcester has further enhanced the appearance of our town.

We are very grateful to the Waitrose Supermarket in Towcester for inviting us to take part in their charity token Community Matters scheme. The funds raised through this scheme will be used by Towcester Evening WI to pay for the planting and upkeep of both our floral planters.

As the year comes to a close this sub-committee has decided to disband but we do hope that different members may join other sub-committees that fit their interests.

We are always looking for members to help with the website, organising the programme, looking after the planters, and archiving our scrapbooks.  Please contact me or Pat should you be interested in helping with any of these items.
